Before the Elder Wars, Crumkane was a jolly God of the Fourth Circle, a culinary artist admired for His manipulation of the ingredients presented to Him into treats Elders far and wide could enjoy. Often trailed by the sugar sprites and spice pixies that adored Him, these spirits revered the God for His use of their plants in His creations, and though not of His design, they became a symbol of the Artist. When the Soulless threat became strong upon the world of Lusternia, Crumkane hid His fae followers within a bubble of His creation and fled to the Void in hopes of returning to continue His art one day.

Crumkane, now returned to the First World, retains His jovial spirit, and while His main focus is on cooking, has a deep appreciation for the ability to turn raw materials into beautiful pieces of art. Known as the Lord of Epicurean Delights, Crumkane teaches of beauty, pleasure, and of self-control, for He believes that pleasure is the one true purpose of life and that beauty is one of the strongest forces of pleasure in the cosmos, but that sometimes it is easy to give into overindulgence, leading only to a path of misery. Crumkane also teaches of the many forms of beauty, and welcomes artists of all sorts into His embrace, from the traditional arts, such as painting, singing and writing, to those more skilled in the art of war.
