Shikari, the Predator, is a dark, brooding and reclusive god, often considered a loner by the other Elder Gods. He is a warrior from the Second Circle, yet His reputation has remained one of mistrust and silence.

What little is known is that He is the brother of Viravain, and often lurks at Her side within the dark boughs of the Glomdoring Forest.

History and Facts

During even the times that predate the Elder Wars, Shikari was known as a dark loner and violent God. He belonged to no cadre, for he would rather work alone. Also in those times, rumors would spread that while he went hunting for crazed Half-formed or creatures of the Void, he would first "play" with them before ending their life.

The only other Elder god that Shikari would converse with and be around is his sister, Viravain. He would often protect her and was her personal guardian. Though note that they are not sister/brother-mates, but they do have a close connection with each other.

When Shikari returned from the Void, he was first greeted by his sister. Initially, He was shocked with how his sister had changed somewhat (because of the events that made her temporarily possessed by Kethuru), but quickly became intrigued and went to her side to be part of the Glomdoring Pantheon and Her protector.

With Shikari came the valuable information of the Cosmic Planes, stating that they were the crèche from which the Gods would grow up to be half-formed, and then to full divinity, at which point they would then leave the Plane. It was also explained that with Dynara's disappearance, the half-formed at those times became stunted in terms of divinity and evolved to something else - beings like the Holy Supernals or the Demon Lords of Nil. It was also explained how Divine of the same crèche would call each other brother and sister, for they had sympathetic vibrations between one another, and it was not taboo for them to have intimate relationships with one another.

His symbol is a black leopard in mid-leap.
