"It is time to put aside all qualms and inhibitions, [...] My Fifth Circle Coterie and I have come to the conclusion that we can in fact emulate the strategy of absorbing the essence of others into ourselves."

In the days of the [[Elder Wars]], [[Fain's Coterie]] was a group of [[Fifth Circle]] [[Divine]] who [[Fain]] worked with to devise ways to combat the [[Soulless God]]s. They developed a serum from the Soulless God [[Erlechtoch]] and, despite the misgivings of [[Mugowumpois]] and [[Mililiki]], used it to revive [[Orlachmar]] from death. The controversial liquid would go on to be known as [[Fain's Elixir]].
