Morgfyre was once the strategist leader of the cadre known as "The Golden Ones", fighting alongside his other cadre members some being Terentia, Hajamin and Krokano. He was known as one of the best strategists of the Gods, among others such as Kalikai. He was later discovered to be compromised as having joined Fain as one of the Twelve Traitors. Morgfyre would assist the Traitors with tactical planning to further their goals. He was later banished alongside Fain to the void for his crimes.

Morgfyre first returned to the First World hidden behind a powerful illusion of that of [[Hajamin]], the Golden Lord by the powerful artifact known as the "Eye of Dynara". Having consumed Hajamin in the void Morgfyre attempted to play the part of the Golden Lord but soon after some odd behavior and then the attack on [[Lyreth]] it was revealed he was an imposter. By the collective of all the Elder Gods and the people of the Basin he was later unmasked as they retrieved the powerful artifact from his temple.

Morgfyre is known as "the Legion" from all the god-like creatures and Gods he has consumed. He calls the many voices that he claims as nightmares simple "Legion". He is even known to speak in the many voices of these victims. He teaches his agents about the necessity of change and that everyone has an Inner hunger and that this hunger must be listened to, for one is required to consume in order to grow stronger.

Morgfyre has changed much in appearance, this occurring from how many entities he has consumed, to the point that he is unrecognizable. Monstrous in appearance Morgfyre's true form lies deep beneath the First World, far under the sea of despair; he currently walks around in the form of a fleeting illusion.
