He was the brother-mate of Elcyrion. Lacostian was one of the more ancient Star Gods, being among the first to emerge from a cosmic plane with His brother, Elcyrion. His existence was one filled with study and contemplation, earning Him the circle of Meditator after the departure of Dynara and Magnora. Lacostian took great interest in the esoteric and possessed an unrivalled control over the fabric of Magic, arguably making him one of the strongest spellcasters in known history.
In modern times, the Mysterial Lord suddenly disappeared from mortal eyes,
not to be seen for many decades. When the voice of Lacostian was heard
again, it bore news of grave events which were taking place within
reality. Lacostian had been studying the fraying of the fabric while
Elcyrion had been seeking for a solution. Unfortunately, Lacostian had
become trapped within the layers of the fraying reality he was studying,
causing Him to be slowly ripped apart along with the layer He occupied.
On the 4th of Dioni, in the year 162 CE, Lacostian used His divine essence
to fuel one of the most powerful spells ever seen in the history of
Lusternia, causing His being to evaporate and be pulled along as His spell
pierced the layers of reality, scattering Him across creation and ending
the entity of Lacostian forever.
The spell was successful in its purpose and allowed mortals to achieve a
connection to Elcyrion. The events that followed are not completely
understood, but in the end, the essence of Elcyrion and Lacostian became
one, giving birth to the Enigmatic god Elostian.
