'''Gnomeweapons''' are [[artifacts]] that provide a [[HuntingGuide|hunting]] attack that can only be used against non-player [[denizen]]s. While the damage of these weapons is not quite as high as some other artifact types (namely the [[Artifact Whips]] or [[Wonderwand]]), they have the unique ability to be upgradeable with up to nine gearboxes which will split the damage of the attack into equal portions. This means that a gnome weapon with nine [[#Gearboxes|gearboxes]] attached will hit the target ten times, each hit having its own [[Critical hit|critical]] roll and potential to splash onto the next denizen in the room if the first has been killed.
