The training and honing of your willpower falls under the skill of Discipline. The primary benefit is increasing your rate of power renewal. There are also a handful of useful skills that are acquired that flow from the mastery of your will. Also, your willpower will regenerate faster the greater your skill in Discipline.

FocusConstruct Capable+0% Manipulate the aether to assist a construct or colossus!
Masochism Capable+50% Take your aggression out on yourself.
Satiation Adept+0% Enhance the value of what you eat.
Restoration Master+0% Healing damaged limbs by force of will.
Metawake Master+50% Cause yourself to quickly wake up automatically.
HeartStop Gifted+0% Slay yourself by stopping your heart.
Breathing Expert+0% Controlling your breathing to avoid asphyxiation.
Selfishness Virtuoso+0% Become too selfish to throw or give anything away.
FocusMind Fabled+0% Curing mental afflictions by sheer will.
DamageShift Mythical+0% Shift wasted damage to fortify your next attack.
EnergyLink Mythical+50% Drain your energy reserves to another.
FocusSpirit Transcendent+0% Focus your mind on cleansing your spirit.

FocusBody

Syntax:
FOCUS BODY

Paralysis prevents you from doing anything, a nasty situation to be in. But all you need do is move your little toe before movement returns. By focusing your entire will upon your body, you can break out of paralysis, or the psionic ailments of leg lock or throat lock.

Additional Notes:
In addition to gaining skills as you study more Discipline, you will reduce the amount of time it takes to recover focus balance. Discipline lessons also control how fast you regain power from your reserves.

Clotting

Syntax:
CLOT

This will permit you to partially clot your bleeding.

Additional Notes:
Each clot will stop 20 bleeding at a cost of 40-60 mana.

Insomnia

Syntax:
INSOMNIA

This ability will allow you to give yourself insomnia - a useful defence against being put to sleep involuntarily.

Additional Notes:
You can also get insomnia without spending mana by eating merbloom.

Obliviousness

Syntax:
OBLIVIOUSNESS [ON/OFF]

OBLIVIOUSNESS TARGET <target>

Though it takes a moderate mana drain, you can will yourself to be oblivious to many actions that don't affect you. The exception to this is if you target someone through obliviousness, which would allow you to see any actions that your target performs. You will also see any actions that occur to your target.


Curing

Syntax:
CURING
CURING AUTOHEAL

Autohealing will allow you to subconsciously maintain your vitals statistics (health, mana, and ego) without focusing on the task yourself.

Special: If you have the FirstAid ability in Discernment, you can enable CURING AUTOAID. This is currently in a trial phase and will only work within one of Lusternia's Arenas. It will automatically try to cure any afflictions you receive.


FocusConstruct

Syntax:
FOCUS <construct/colossus> [POSITIVE|NEGATIVE]
FOCUS CLEAR

This skill allows you to support a construct positively or negatively, affecting how much damage they take, both from other constructs/colossi and from aethership bombardment. Only a limited number of people can support constructs. While you are supporting the construct or colossus, you will continuously gain experience while you retain that support.

Note as well that focusing negatively on a construct or colossus will slow its ability to move.


Masochism

Syntax:
CONFIG MASOCHISM [ON|OFF]

You may now decide whether or not you are able to target yourself with aggressive abilities. The default is off, and this command cannot be forced.

NOTE: You should not rely on attacks against yourself functioning exactly as they do against other players. If something does not seem to be working correctly, please test against another player before assuming something is broken.

Satiation

Syntax:
SATIATION

By using this ability, you will begin to concentrate on processing your food more efficiently. After activating it, you'll have a short period during which to eat some food.

Restoration

Syntax:
RESTORE

By channeling mental power into healing, you can heal any broken limbs you may have at one time.

Additional Notes:
The length of the equilibrium loss depends on how many broken limbs you have.

Metawake

Syntax:
METAWAKE ON/OFF

Though it will quickly drain your mana, turning metawake on will ensure that you will quickly wake up if put to sleep.

HeartStop

Syntax:
HEARTSTOP

This lethal ability will cause your heart to immediately stop, killing yourself in an instant. Use it with caution, for it will cost you more experience than a standard death.

Breathing

Syntax:
HOLD BREATH
DMP: 200 Asphyx Resist (max)

You can begin to hold your breath, granting yourself a massive resistance to most forms of asphyxiation damage. This defence will gradually wear down over time until you can hold your breath no longer, at which point you will hyperventilate for a few minutes.


Selfishness

Syntax:
SELFISHNESS

GENEROSITY

With this ability, you may cause yourself to become so selfish that you can't give away a thing.

Additional Notes:
This is an effective counter to most forms of theft, and also protects against losing clothing to vestiphobia (you only take it off but hold it).

FocusMind

Syntax:
FOCUS MIND

Your mental survival skills have adapted to the point where you can cure mental afflictions merely by focusing your mind. Be warned though that the mana cost for this is high.

DamageShift

Your mastery of discipline allows you to reserve the energy of critical strikes and fortify your next attack with the remaining strength. Waste not, want not.

Additional Notes:
A passive effect. When hunting, whenever your killing blow includes a critical and does more damage than was needed for the kill, the next blow you make on your next target will be increased.

EnergyLink

Syntax:
ENERGYLINK <player> <percent> ENERGY

This will drain your energy reserves and transfer it to another player, though some of the energy is lost in the transfer process.

Additional Notes:
Only half of the energy you give up will be received.

FocusSpirit

Syntax:
FOCUS SPIRIT

You can lift curses from your spirit, though the mana cost for this is extraordinary.

Additional Notes:
Costs 25% of maximum mana, and doesn't always work against some afflictions.
