Il'vania
Il'vania, called Mother of the Hearth, was a Vernal Goddess. She was one half of the Sisters of the Hearth, the other being Il'garala.
Origin
- Initially a taurian.
- From the city of Culneredir.
Description
"Il'vania was smaller than Il'garala, with small white horns barely peeking through her dark tresses which were tied up in a bun. She was at least a head shorter than her sister, dressed in a blue linen robe over which was a crisp cotton apron. Her long fingers traced along my head and neck, covering me with a gentle pink light."
Reputed Deeds
- Made hearthstones to heal and protect, working primarily in cities.
"she loved the cities, and used her powers of artifice to create unnatural spirits bound to hearthstones, where they served mortalkind."
- - Diary of Cimtri p. 2
- According to a play, she worked with Dionamus to save a few from Molneredir when it was under attack but abandoned early to evacuate Culneredir.
- This may have been a highly mythologized account given the play has a strong viewpoint and significant discrepancies with the Diary of Cimtri.
- Along with Il'garala, she helped Shallah give her heart to the krokani of Lirangsha and the Order of Shallah.
- Worked with Il'garala to create two hearthstones in Mornhai Sanctuary and connect them to that place's ethereal healing mound.
- Returned later to use the hearthstone to grant immortality to a group of aslarans wounded by Zenos.
- May have died in a battle with Kethuru at the Andoven Cliffs.
