Nestled under the Scorpion's Tail Mountains near the Skarch desert, the Scorpion Caverns are home to a mysterious group of dracnari and lucidians who worship the Great Spirit called Grandmother Scorpion. The devout of the Scorpion wish for nothing but to be left alone, and they constantly seek to contact their beloved Grandmother to know her will concerning their actions. Viewed as cult-like by some and merely very devout by others, these people are also the first practitioners of the Gift of Nekotai, which is a form of martial arts now perfected by the Nekotai monk guild in the forest commune of Glomdoring.
