Twenty years later, a strange plague spread across the [[Basin of Life]], and Ayridion fought against it numerous times. When the source of the plague struck at the Nine Seals themselves, Ayridion sacrificed his divine essence to create the [[Threshold Abyss]], which separates the [[Immanidivinus]] - the source of the Elder Gods' power - from the realms of the Nine Domoth, wherein the Seals draw their strength.
