Thornroot Movement

The Thornroot Movement seems to be a (somewhat) clandestine group of Faethorn residents who are fiercely loyal to their home. They have access to powerful magical rites and songs.

    • Perriwinkle foments a movement against the non-fae and how they use Faethorn.
    • The little fae girl begins to sing a strange song but becomes silent when non-fae observers gather around her.
  • 15 Tzarin, 144 CE (Events #57)
    • The Movement is upset at Serenwilde and Glomdoring not respecting the wishes of fae who wanted to stay in Faethorn.
    • Laeroc, Antris and Perriwinkle performs a ritual around the little fae girl and she disappears. She has been transported to the Tree of Trees.
    • The little fae girl, now in the form of the Rose Bearer and the Young One, sings the Song of Ail'Fae Rhunia[sic].

    • When the Holy Supernal Raziela is trapped inside the Soulless God Muud, the Thornroot Movement contacts the communes with a plan.
    • The little fae girl is once again taken to the Tree of Trees to empower her to sing the Song of Ail'Fae Runia.
    • Instead of helping free Raziela, the Song manifests thorny vines and scarlet roses to wrack the captive Supernal's right arm.

    • When Sun possesses Queen Maeve, making her the Solar Queen, the Thornroot convene to take action, but first they must elect a new leader after the death of Laeroc. Perriwinkle wins.

    • The Rosebearer's Song of Ail'Fae Runia is disrupted by the Solar Queen's Song of First Morning.
    • Perriwinkle uses elemental essence gathered by the Basin-folk to empower the little fae girl as a new figure: the Once and Future Queen whose Song of Ail'Fae Runia was able to break the Song of First Morning.
