A lithotrophic creature created by [[Bollikin]] and [[Tae]]. A number of regional variants can be found throughout the [[Basin of Life|Basin]] and beyond. Mountain rockeaters are found in mining villages and along the mountain ranges. Marine rockeaters are found on the sea floor. Deeprock rockeaters are seen in the [[Undervault]].

Rockeaters can be given to jewelers in mining villages as a commodity quest. They are also used by the waystation chef Troka in his meat pies. Some will drop glowing stones, these are used by Barona, another waystation chef.
