Emperor Ladantine VII
Emperor Ladantine VII ruled over the Holy Celestine Empire in the years before the Taint was unleashed upon the Basin. He initiated Project Cosmic Hope in an attempt to reach beyond the Cosmic Planes and harness the power of the fabled Supra Plane. He was killed on the Astral Plane when the Taint was first unleashed, but rose again as one of the undead. Once back on the Prime Material Plane, he claimed he could only protect the Basin from Kethuru if a Nexus of Power was used to raise him to godhood as a Vernal God.
- Tried to secure the Horn of Urlach to make his undead soldiers unstoppable.
- Lolly Pringle knew of this plan and warned Farella Lunseer. Farella sent word to Queen Maeve, who mobilized the kelpies of the Crystal Sea to attack ships, knowing one carried the Horn.
- Stormed Celest with his army and Rowena Nightshade in an attempt to reach the Pool of Stars.
- Halted by Princess Marilynth and knocked into the sea by Lolly Pringle.
More Recent History
- Attempted to kill or trap all other dreamweavers to consolidate his power and rule Lusternia from the dreamrealm. This eventually led to establishing contact with the Elemental Lords and the revival of dreamweaving as a modern practice. (Events #18)
