The mortal Soll Peulus ascended as Ayridion the White Flame in mastering the Nine Seals and renewing the prison of Almighty Kethuru, the greatest of the Soulless Gods.

Ayridion, The White Flame (by Balizar)

Twenty years later, a strange plague spread across the Basin of Life, and Ayridion fought against it numerous times. When the source of the plague struck at the Nine Seals themselves, Ayridion sacrificed his divine essence to create the Threshold Abyss, which separates the Immanidivinus - the source of the Elder Gods' power - from the realms of the Nine Domoth, wherein the Seals draw their strength. This process altered Ayridion irrevocably, destroying his divinity, and what remains of him walks the lands now as Ilyarin, first of the Ascendants.

History

  • 168 CE - Soll Peulus ascends to become Ayridion. (Events #89)
  • 170 CE - Ayridion sought out Isune and, along with his order, reached the place where she slept, plagued by nightmares. Morgfyre's order defiled the place and Morgfyre began to consume Isune until Ayridion was able to fight off the Legion. (Events #90)
  • 177 CE - Ayridion gave Lisaera healing essence which, in turn, helped her restore the Moon avatars. (Events #95)
  • 188 CE - Ayridion and Terentia together forge an artifact to aid the Celestines in breaking archangels from a trance.
  • 189 CE - Ayridion (Events #101)

Thus fell Ayridion, the last Ascended from among the mortals to take up the cloak of divinity. Never again will another mortal touch the source of divinity, cut off by the Threshold Abyss.
