The prime skill of all mages is to master the primal elements of earth, wind, fire and water. Once mastery is complete, the goal of every mage is to move on to specialize in the one element associated with their city's nexus of power.

Sense Inept+0% You can sense elementals infused in the ground.
Dig Inept+0% Unearth buried treasures and burrowing people.
Cleanse Inept+25% Wash yourself squeaky clean.
Scry Inept+50% Locate another player.
Gust Inept+75% Blow someone in a direction with a gust of wind.
Blast Novice+0% Release a blast of elemental power.
Levitate Novice+33% Float on a cushion of air.
Stoneskin Novice+66% Protect yourself from physical damage.
Waterbreathe Apprentice+0% Extract air from water.
Firewall Apprentice+25% Create a wall of elemental fire.
Geyser Apprentice+50% Knock someone out of the trees or the sky.
Elementshield Apprentice+75% Shield yourself from the elements.
Doorblast Capable+0% Blast open jammed doors.
Fog Capable+33% Conjure up obscuring fog.

Sense

If you can survey a location, you will be able to sense whether or not an elemental is infused in that location. You can also sense any runes infused at that location.

Dig

Syntax:
CAST DIG

Manual labour is a thing of the past for the mage who can simply command the earth to expose its hidden treasures.

Cleanse

Syntax:
CAST CLEANSE <target|ME>

Create refreshing, cleansing water to bathe in, washing away unwanted odours.

Scry

Syntax:
CAST SCRY <target>

Create a scrying mirror with a handful of water, and reveal with the location of another.

Gust

Syntax:
CAST GUST

CAST GUST <player> <direction>

By channeling the element of air, you can either blow a fog or cloud out of the room, or blow a player in a particular direction.

Blast

Syntax:
CAST BLAST <target>
Damage Type: 100% Heat

Damage Source: Magical

Attack your target with a blast of pure elemental power.

Levitate

Syntax:
CAST LEVITATE

Make yourself light as a feather and lift yourself up on a cushion of air, making yourself immune from falling damage.

Stoneskin

Syntax:
CAST STONESKIN
Damage Modifier: variable depending on skill level, max of 24

Stoneskin coats much of your body in stone, providing some protection against physical attacks. As your skill in elementalism increases, so will the protection this ability affords you.

Waterbreathe

Syntax:
CAST WATERBREATHE

You can create a magical mask over your mouth which will filter oxygen from water and allow you to breathe underwater without consequence.

Firewall

Syntax:
CAST FIREWALL <direction>

Channeling the power of elemental fire, you will create walls of burning flame.

Geyser

Syntax:
CAST GEYSER AT <player>

CAST GEYSER <direction>

Using this ability, you may knock a flying or "treed" player out of the skies or trees.

If cast in a direction, it will douse any firewalls that may be there.

Elementshield

Syntax:
CAST ELEMENTSHIELD
Damage Modifier: 15

Surround yourself with a magical shield that absorbs some damage from elemental damage, such as fire, cold and electricity.

Doorblast

Syntax:
CAST DOORBLAST <direction>

Locked doors will not stop the diligent mage who can summon a wind to blow it open. Some doors will resist attempts to be blast open while others will be impossible to open with this spell.

Fog

Syntax:
CAST FOG

With the powers of air and water, you can obfuscate a room with elemental fog.

Magelock

Syntax:
CAST MAGELOCK <direction>

No key is needed for the mage to lock doors, simply freeze the lock in place.

Freeze

Syntax:
CAST FREEZE GROUND

CAST FREEZE <player>

When casting freeze at the ground, you will cause a coating of ice to cover it, causing people to slip occassionally. When casting it at another person, you will first clear off the fire potion defense if the person has one on, then cause the target to shiver, and finally freeze him.

Icewall

Syntax:
CAST ICEWALL <direction>

This spell will create a wall of elemental ice, blocking the passage of those who would seek to pass by.

Ignite

Syntax:
CAST IGNITE <target>

CAST IGNITE <ice/briarwall> AT <direction>

Damage Type: Heat

Damage Source: Magical

You can ignite a hapless target, or destroy ice/briar walls with the fury of fire.

Gate

Syntax:
TRANSVERSE <plane>

You can travel to or from the elemental realms from any planar gate.
