Located deep beneath the seabed of what was once the Crystal Sea, a series of caverns linked by passages have been discovered in ages long past and gone. Named after Taerin, one of the discoverers, the Taerin Passages are home to a group of merian mages, the last remants of the researchers from that era. Divided by forces unknown to them, one side is now bent on no less than the complete extermination of the other side. Mysteries and dangers await those who dare plumb the depths and ponder the secrets that the crystals still hold.
- There exists here a stable, permanent pathway to the Crystal Meadows on the Ethereal Plane in the form of a crystal column.
