Archetypes are general classes on which guilds are based. There are currently 7 archetypes in Lusternia: Guardian, Mage, Druid, Wiccan, Bard, Monk and Warrior. Guilds are based on these archetypes, which determine what skills and specializations are open to a member of that guild. Ultimately, this translates to opening up three skills:
One Prime: The trademark skill of the archetype.
Two Secondary: Supporting skills that back-up the prime skill.
While there may be a common thread among archetypes, the guilds themselves are unique, having different specializations, philosophies and concentrations.
