The Dark Cadre was a subgroup of Fain's Coterie, composed of Second Circle Divine that supported using Fain's elixir in the battle against the Soulless. Its members included Morgfyre, Thax, Gruenella, Slaay, and Ivanko. At the end of the Elder Wars, all five members of the Dark Cadre were sentenced to exile and would be known as part of the Twelve Traitors.
