The areas that exist outside of the Basin of Life possess strange and alien environments. One such area is the vast Skarch Desert, which exists at the south-western corner of the continent, beyond the Razine and Southern Mountains. Skarch is teeming with life, from snakes and coyotes to the strange wakabi. The village of Dairuchi is also located within the desert, and the city of Gaudiguch and Mount Zoaka can be seen at its northern borders.
