Greatsword
Syntax |
STRIKE <target> [LEFT|RIGHT] [<bodypart>] [<modifier> [<modifier args>]] |
As a Pureblade, your skill with two-handed swords is such that you now attack even faster. Additionally, as you train in the Pureblade skill, you will learn to apply modifiers to your strikes, which increase the effectiveness of your attacks even further.
Additional Notes: |
Skills with the syntax "Modifier" are used to fill the <modifier> argument of Strike. For example, STRIKE ROARK OPENCHEST |
OpenChest
Syntax |
Modifier |
Targetable Body Parts: Chest Requirements: Light wounds |
This modifier will open a gaping wound in your target's chest, leaving them unable to prevent bleeding.
Sealing
This passive ability will slightly decrease the amount you bleed from attacks.
Disembowel
Syntax |
Modifier |
Targetable Body Parts: Gut Requirements: Light wounds |
This modifier will damage the insides of your opponent, causing internal bleeding
Cleave
Syntax |
CLEAVE <target> <body part> |
This maneuver will allow you to cleave smoothly through defences such as shields and jab the blade of your great axe into your foe, all in one movement.
PierceArm
Syntax |
Modifier |
Targetable Body Parts: Right arm, left arm Requirements: Light wounds |
This modifier will pierce an opponent's arm, leaving them clumsy.
PureStance
Syntax |
PURESTANCE [<target>|ME]
Power: 5 (any) |
Effect: You may protect an ally or yourself with your blade. Any attack against will be deflected and met with retaliatory strikes. Should you be sprawled, entangled or separated from the person you are protecting, you will be unable to deflect attacks.
Additionally, all your focus must be on maintaining the Pure Stance and any other action will prevent you from continuing it.
Assault
Syntax |
Modifier |
Targetable Body Parts: Any Requirements: None |
This modifier will cause your strike to bypass parry, deal double the wounds and 25% more damage as a normal strike.
SlitThroat
Syntax |
Modifier |
Targetable Body Parts: Head Requirements: Heavy wounds |
This modifier will slice open the throat of your target, damaging it.
SeverPhrenic
Syntax |
Modifier |
Targetable Body Parts: Chest Requirements: Heavy wounds |
This modifier will sever key nerves in the chest, causing sensitivity to pain.
Warcry
Syntax |
WARCRY |
Your warcry is now so powerful and intimidating that many creatures attacking your allies will be forced to consider you their primary target. You will not be able to produce a proper warcry while off-balance or on the floor, and most loyal creatures are simply so devoted to their cause that your warcry will have no effect.
Impale
Syntax |
Modifier |
Targetable Body Parts: Gut Requirements: Heavy wounds |
This modifier will drive your weapon through the gut of your opponent, impaling them to the ground.
Bleeder
Syntax |
COMBATSTYLE BLEEDER |
Choosing a bleeder fighting style will increase the bleeding caused by your attacks at the expense of wounding.
HeftySword
When someone parries one of your attacks, the force behind your massive sword set their parrying item to vibrate strongly, temporarily decreasing its parrying effectiveness.
LegTendon
Syntax |
Modifier |
Targetable Body Parts: Right leg, left leg Requirements: Heavy wounds |
This modifier will cause your strikes to mutilate your target's legs.

Twist
Syntax |
Modifier |
Targetable Body Parts: Any Requirements: None |
This modifier will increase the damage of your strike, scaling according to your opponent's bleeding. It will also add hemorrhaging.
Additional Notes: |
Hemorrhaging is an affliction that prevents you from clotting bleed below that level, or bruising below half that level. It cures over time. |
Bleedout
Syntax |
Modifier |
Power: 3 (Any) Targetable Body Parts: Any |
Striking at exposed and vital veins will allow your target's blood to flow.
PinLeg
Syntax |
Modifier |
Targetable Body Parts: Right leg, left leg Requirements: Light wounds |
This modifier will cause increased hemorrhaging and bleeding according to how wounded your opponent is.
PinArm
Syntax |
Modifier |
Targetable Body Parts: Right arm, left arm Requirements: Light wounds |
This modifier will cause increased hemorrhaging and bleeding according to how wounded your opponent is.

Exsanguinate
Syntax |
Modifier |
Targetable Body Parts: Gut Requirements: InternalBleeding and 1 of the following:
Effects: Death |
If your opponent is wounded and hemorrhaging enough, you can kill them instantly via exsanguination.
Decapitate
Syntax |
STRIKE <target> DECAPITATE |
Power: 5 (any) Targetable Body Parts: None |
This extremely powerful maneuver is so dangerous that you must build up to its execution, the result of which is inevitably the death of your target.
