Lord of the Hunt. The Sacrificial Deer. The Horned One.

A divine of the seventh circle, Charune's domain consists of the hunted, the wild beasts who elude predators and gather in herds, who offer their life in sacrifice that the cycle might continue. The continuation of this cycle is a necessary and sacred rite, and the Hunt is the act which enacts it. Of His own, He confers the duty of respect and reverence for the hunted, the mercy of a quick kill and the honour owed to one who gave its life up for the next meal.

He harbours a great distaste both for the Taint and for the cities, viewing paved roads and stone buildings as an attempt to distance oneself from the natural world. However, he does hold a modicum of respect for elemental mages, noting their mastery of the natural elements.

Charune's greatest two creations are the White Hart, the collective soul of all stags and deer, and Old Man Bull, the collective soul of all bovine. Amongst his other creations are deer, elk, moose, cows, bison, buffalos, and many others.
