Events #440

Fae in both Serenwilde and Glomdoring could not stay awake, with their dreams manifesting in reality around them. Crow and White Hart were soon affected and monstrosities from within their nightmares began assaulting the forests. Queen Maeve was consulted, but she already had a visitor - a strange dracnari with the ability to transform himself into an indomitable dragon. Adventurers learned that dragons had invaded the Great Spirits' dreams and were the cause of the monstrosities attacking the communes. The dracnari taught Miakoda and Brennan Stormcrow how to build totems infused with the magic necessary to allow any adventurer to enter the Dreaming. Adventurers from both communes entered the Dreaming and rescued their Great Spirits from their nightmare attackers.

A month later, Mother Moon and Mother Night began to slumber and it became clear that the same magic could not be used to rescue them, as they were located further within the Dreaming than Crow and White Hart had been. Maeve herself volunteered to enter the Dreaming and she was defended by many adventurers from hordes of monstrosities. Both communes worked together to escort her to the dreams of Mother Moon and Mother Night where she was able to force the dragons out of the Dreaming. One last battle was waged against a behemoth constructed from detritus of the dreams. The dracnari that visited Maeve explained that it was likely that the final battle had awoken the dragons, but they could not be located.

Events #442

In Tzarin and Klangiary 556 CE, the dracnari emissary that had visited Maeve ventured to meet with citizens of Gaudiguch. A strange hunger overtook her, and she was brought before the city's guardian, Drachou, presenting him with a sachet of herbs from her ancestral home. After speaking more with her in an esoteric language, Drachou dismissed her as a mere whelpling with delusions of grandeur. This enraged her and she transformed, taking flight above the city and summoning a cataclysmic meteor to assault the city.

Drachou was able to defend the city from total disaster, but some of the flames of the meteor still rained down and set the city ablaze. The herbs that the dracnari had gifted Drachou began to burn, creating an intoxicating vapour that put him to sleep. Within a month, he began to grow ill. Mesadari Rhiero was able to stir him awake long enough for the Gaudiguchans to make a diagnosis of his illness, to which Mesadari was able to concoct a potion to act as an antidote. Drachou was revitalized, though it seemed as if he had lost some of his memory in the ordeal.
