The Ackleberry Forest existed in the time before the Taint, one of three Nature communes formed within the boundaries of the great forests of the Basin. The denizens of Ackleberry, which consisted of furrikin and tae'dae, as well as a smattering of aslaran, loboshigaru, and igasho, worshipped Sister Lake and Brother Bear, and could often be found tending to the Elder Honeysap, one of the lost Nexuses of Power.
