The mission members approached the Heralds in a formation known as the [[Finger of Fate]], and this successfully held off the first attack. Members of the [[Second Circle]] watched the mission from the safety of [[Xyl]]'s spires back on the [[Prime Material Plane]], through Amberle and Meridian's telepathic link. The concerned warriors ordered Amberle to begin the [[Daath Sequence]], also called the Breaker of the Cosmos, the ultimate offense then known among the Elders. Amberle refused, in the hopes that they could make one last attempt at communicating peacefully with the Heralds. | |||

The Elder Godess Amberle, member of the First Circle, was the sister-mate of Meridian. She led over 300 members of the First Circle on a mission of diplomacy to meet with the Heralds of Magnora in the Void, but was attacked.
