Amberle was a member of the First Circle of the Divine, also known as the Leaders and Mediators. She was the sister-mate of Meridian. She led members of the First Circle on a mission of diplomacy to meet with the Heralds of Magnora in the Void, but was attacked. The First Circle had approached the Heralds in a formation known as "the Finger of Fate", and it successfully held off the first attack. Members of the Second Circle watched the mission from the safety of Xyl's spires back on the Prime Material Plane, and ordered the Elders to begin "the Daath Sequence", also known as "the Breaker of the Cosmos", which could have decimated the Heralds. Amberle refused, in the hopes that the First Circle could make one last attempt at communicating peacefully with the Heralds. This proved impossible, as the Heralds only exist to consume, and consume they did; Amberle and most of the First Circle were destroyed.

The Amberle Ocean, sometimes referred to as the Sea of Amberle, was named in Her memory. The arena in New Celest is also named in Her honour - the Pearl of the Amberle.
