People across the Basin first began seeing a mysterious figure throughout the cities - a tall, slender figure with blue fur. When confronted, the figure spoke in a strange, unfamiliar language and appeared frightened.

Kaelye homeland: Lyraa Ey Rielys. There, the kaelye were unfamilar with the Sun, the Moon, the stars, the sea, and the Taint.

"Tamaon mika?" "Missaon minua?" "Autaakaa minua!"

Taimi Kivinen - first kaelye "caught" and communicated with; came to the Basin with others of her race in a large blue ship shaped like an egg, known as Kauko.

The kaelye were familiar with species of creatures that had come to the Basin in recent years: the muku, linorii, and the garosaur. It is believed that they are shards of a divine known as Kaenalye. Lore related to the kaelye was discovered in the temple of Maylea.
