Known for Her formative role in the founding of the hamadhi, Lantra was a reserved Goddess of the Third Circle who served as a healer and caretaker of the Half-Formed alongside the Firsts Amberle, Carsini and Eventru. Though it was Their leadership that guided the hamadhi, it was Lantra's diligent work that proved to be the essential foundation of the hamadhi's healing arts and knowledge. Among the oldest of the Elder Gods, Lantra was prone to quiet contemplation and recognised for Her austerity and calm composure, which earned Her the moniker of "The White".

During the Elder Wars, Lantra served as Eventru's right hand in supporting the Elder Gods who took arms against the Soulless. Under His direction, She was found most often tending the wounded of the Second Circle, who consistently sustained the most grievous injuries in battle. Though Her expertise was great, Lantra grieved that She could not do more to save Her cousins, and the betrayal of Malmydia and Fain's Coterie served as a cruel and persistent reminder that there were limits to whom and what She could save. Thus, the Goddess has sworn enmity against all that has been touched by the Soulless, despising it as a twisted perversion of Dynara's greatest gift - the soul.

Upon Lantra's return to the First World, She has taken residence in New Celest, where She has devoted Herself to the welfare of the Children of Light and the Supernals of Celestia alongside Her Brother, Darvellan. She is a Goddess of life, healing and renewal, seeking to restore the Purity of the First World from the contamination of the Soulless. Lantra values Wisdom in those who seek Her, as well as the Fortitude to withstand strife, and Devotion to a life of temperance and duty, rather than a life merely serving the self. She is said to sometimes take the form of a mysterious veiled woman shrouded in starlit mist.

Her symbols include a star lotus in eternal bloom, an urn overflowing with water and light, and the duality of a black and a white koi fish circling each other in the water.
