Meridian

Meridian was a member of the First Circle of the Divine, also known as the Leaders and Mediators. He was the brother-mate of Amberle. He stayed in the House of Xyl during the first battle of the Elder Wars, using His innate connection with Amberle to monitor Her meeting with the Heralds of Magnora from afar. When Amberle was destroyed, He faced a crippling psychic backlash. Meridian would be the last of the Elder Gods who remained in Lusternia following the Elder Wars, before splintering into the merian race. In the Book of Meridian, it is revealed that He knows an important secret about the nature of the mortal races - that hidden deep within every adventurer's consciousness is another being entirely, who simply believes this world to be part of a game.
