Razine Mountains

This mountain range curves around the western border of the Basin of Life, a jagged cluster of peaks that stretches some distance to the west before its foothills drop down to touch the Amberle Ocean beyond. The Estengare River flows down from these mountains, whilst various huts, graves and walls have been left by those foolhardy enough to scrape a living from the cold, gravelly soil. The Plaxios Lowlands, the Tosha Monastery, the Mornhai Sanctuary, the Chancel of Clangoran Mysteries, the Meliashmora of Imperial Secrets and the Zoaka Volcano all lie within this extensive mountain range. The upper peaks of the Razine Mountains contain the once hidden nesting grounds of the glorious roc creatures, infamous for pulling unsuspecting victims from the nearby Oleanvir Valley. The tunnels have more recently become home to an eccentric dracnari who seeks to use them for the purposes of aiding the dracnari against their age old enemies.
