Okay!

As tasked to do the Divine Pantheon, I am looking for suggestions on what to add! Here is what I am thinking so far: Sandbox

I am thinking of adding the descriptions of the Gods found on the Scrying Pool -- largely, because that is one of the major things people are looking for. However, what else should I add (or should I even have the descriptions at all?!)

I've always felt dubious about descriptions because they tend to change too much, and when it changes there's no way even to be notified that there's a need to update it. I always felt the most useful parts of the Scrying Pool pages were the bits that recorded history and philosophy of the god beyond what's in the basic help file. The last section on the Maylea page is one example of that.

It feels like there should be more than that, but I'm not sure what.

One thought on formatting: instead of putting the info box on the right, I would put it on the left, and put a thumbnail of a relevant artisanal on the right, like on the skills pages. Nearly all the active gods have at least one artisanal depicting them, or something about them, and artisanals really dress up the pages and give them life.

I scrapped the Estarra info as a practice, mainly because it would be easier to use an example that had a lot of info that we were going to use -- so I am working on Maylea to get an idea of what is wanted.

In terms of format, I made it so the table is on the left, and temporarily put a picture of Estarra up there so I can visualize how it would work. I tried to make it so that the text wouldn't be so close to the table border, but that didn't seem to work, so I made it so that it got bumped beneath it by making the width bigger. The picture helped because it made it so the text couldn't immediately do go next to the box. Something to work on I suppose!

I personally have always found descriptions really lovely, and I think people on the forums would always be considerate enough to put up a new description of a God (if there is one). If worse comes to worse, I would imagine you can create a thread which we can ask the forum population of things we need?
