Astral Plane
The Astral Plane was discovered by Emperor Ladantine VII, last ruler of the Holy Celestine Empire. This plane imprisons the greatest of the Soulless Gods, Almighty Kethuru, and is twisted by his presence. The plane itself is a series of floating spheres, each a monstrous horror unto itself, which slowly move in strange orbits, continuously bumping into each other.
With Kethuru now firmly imprisoned, it is possible to travel to these astrospheres and drain the latent energies there, though this process is not without its hazards. INSANITY awaits those who linger on the Astral Plane for too long, and many a horror will seek to claim their life. Beyond that, zealous hunters should be careful not to drain the nodes of power too low as the weaker they are, the slower they recoup lost power.

History
- The Council of Nine merge to become Avechna and the Nine Seals which imprisons Kethuru outside the Cosmic Planes.
- Gorgogs are created to test travel to the Astral Plane.
- Project Cosmic Hope reaches beyond the Cosmic Planes and is the first time mortals travel to Astral Plane. This also released the Taint.
- A membrane ruptures on the Astral Plane and forevermore those who travel there develop insanity. (Events #43)
