Archmage Lucinda Shervalian resided upon the Arysian Isles in the time preceding the Taint Wars. Alongside three other Archmages, she oversaw the protection of the Towers of the Magi - each dedicated to a different element. She sought to use the power of an elemental machine built on the Isle of Nyalia to force the Isles deep under the Bondero Bay, keeping it safe from the encroaching Taint.
