[[Sweeloh Sunfar]] was a member of [[Hallifax|Hallifax's]] Board of Governors during the [[Taint Wars]]. Sunfar did not travel to the [[Astral Plane]] as part of the [[Project Cosmic Hope]] expedition, but when the [[Taint]] was unleashed, it was Sunfar's decision to use aeromantic countermeasures to protect the city from the cloud. This would inadvertently blow the Taint cloud towards the [[Gloriana Preserve]], twisting and corrupting it into the [[Glomdoring]]. Sunfar was later present on the [[The Vortex|Cosmic Plane of Vortex]] when members of the [[Illuminati]] invoked Project Paradox, which would seal Hallifax and Gaudiguch in time and protect them from the influence of the Taint.
