Fusing or merging is a metaphysical process by which two or more gods merge to become one.
Ein is credited with first developing the theoretical basis of how Fusing and Splintering could be possible.
Historical Fusings
- The Council of Nine became Avechna.
- Lacostian and Elcyrion became Elostian. (Events #73)
- Eventru and Lyreth became Valtreth. (Events #293)
- Isikathi merged into Avechna as the Tenth Vernal. (Events #439)
Stranger cases
There are also many instances where a god is said to have consumed another but, unlike how mortals ingest, the consumed god persists in some part.
- Orlachmar absorbed Volkh and, afterwards, Wolf seemed to sense its creator within him.
- Crazen devoured Thalrinda and was able to use her likeness.
- Morgfyre consumed Hajamin and many other beings, becoming forever changed by that.
- Viravain existed inside of Isune for a time (Events #41) until they were separated (Events #42).
