The nature totem of Crow is available to some members of the Forest of Glomdoring, and is required for the Blacktalon druid guild. Crow grants its users the skills the Spirit is best known for, as well as granting them the ability to take on crowform itself at the highest level.

TotemCarve

Power: 10 (Commune Nexus)

When a mystic tree of your commune becomes an elder, you may call upon the powers of nature to transform it into a living totem, which will remain standing for a year and a day before reverting back to an elder tree. Living totems cannot be chopped down. The type of power depends on what commune the tree to carve is associated with.

When carving a totem, power will first attempt to be drawn from a wielded powerstone, then your personal reserve, and then finally your active power.


Cloak

Damage Resistance: 3/10 Poison

You must first obtain a crow's feather in order to make this sacred cloak. When you wear a cloak you created, the cloak will transform you into the lesser form of Crow, granting the ability to speak with the dead, fly, and offer 3/10 resistance to poison damage. If worn by anyone else, it will only grant the ability to speak with the dead.


Perch

While in the branches of a tree, you can dig your talons into the branches, making it difficult to remove you from your perch.

Requires but does not consume balance and equilibrium. Blocks geyser and tree shaking.


Bonding

You may bond with a totem pole for a year and a day. You may also release the bond to your totem before that. Sense will show you how many months remain before your bond expires. Renewing will renew your bond to your totem for two additional months, up to a maximum of a year.

You may assign a Druid caretaker for your totem, which will allow them to affix runes to the totem and tune it as though it were their own. If you are a Druid, sense will also show you the locations of any totems for which you are the caretaker.


BirdsEye

Syntax
BIRDSEYE <target>

From the heights above while flying, you can scan for potential prey. If they are in the same area as you, you will see what room they're in. Otherwise, you'll just sense their area. This type of sensing is undetectable.


CrowsFeet

This ceremony will paint the feet of a crow at the corner of your eyes, which will allow you to detect those travelling the dream realm. Note that you will only get a warning when a dreamwalker enters or leaves and no other information. To remove all facepaints, you must WIPE FACE. To wipe a specific facepaint, WIPE FACE <paint>.


Squall

Beating your dark wings will cause a squalling wind to rise up and attempt to blow everyone in the room in a random direction.


CrowsNest

It is extremely important to maintain a nest at your bonded totem. This nest will store carrion which you can feed upon during a rainy day. The nest can store many dozens of portions, though this carrion decays at a fast rate. Resting in your crow's nest will regenerate your health and mana up to 25% over their normal amounts so long as there is carrion in your nest.

Should your nest ever lose all its carrion, it will decay early.


Spiderweb

Tints Required: bluetint 2

This ceremony will paint an elaborate spiderweb across your face, which gives a small chance that you will dodge webs and other entanglements cast at you. To remove any facepaint, you must WIPE FACE.


Decoy

This tricky movement skill, will throw a decoy in a random direction other than the direction you have left. There must be valid exit to throw the decoy for this to work (i.e., a clearly open exit not blocked by walls or closed doors).


Regurgitate

You can personally store carrion in your belly (up to 30 chunks) by feeding directly from your nest, or eating the body of a slain adventurer. By regurgitating, you can consume 2 of these chunks for a hefty healing factor.

Crow loves to play pranks and this is one of his favorites. You can invade your target's mind with a clever stare and trick them into performing an action of your choice, maybe a subtle 'girn', or something much more sinister...

You can track those on the ground while flying, swooping over above them with your great wings. Also, you can hoist victims on the ground up into the skies with your mighty talons.

BoneNose

This ceremony will paint your nose to look like a bone, which grants the automatic healing of broken limbs or noses. Each time you break a limb you will have a partial chance to have it immediately healed - if it is healed, your nose will twitch. To remove any facepaint, you must WIPE FACE.


Hibernate

CROW HIBERNATE
Power: 2 (Master Ravenwood)

You can enter into a mystical state of hibernation, communing remotely with your nest. While in this state, you will slowly absorb carrion from your nest, though some carrion will be lost through this process. Most actions will pull you out of hibernation, as will filling up with carrion. You must be in crow form or wearing a crow cloak to hibernate. Note: You can never drain your nest to the point where it will be destroyed while hibernating.

You can return to the safety of your nest from any known plane. However, the further away the plane, the longer it takes to travel back and the higher the power cost will be:

While in the form of a crow, you can peck out the eyes of your enemies. Because of the physiognomy of krokani, they are immune to such attacks. Further, you can use eyeballs to track the movements of the eyeball's owner if the eyeball is on the floor of your nest, but be aware that doing this consumes carrion at a fast rate on top of the initial carrion cost.


DeathMask

This ceremony will paint the deathmask over your entire face, which will cause your energy reserves to rise upon killing another. To remove any facepaint, you must WIPE FACE.

Spewing up contents of your stomach, you may attract insects to inflict pain to bleeding enemies. It will not affect other followers of Crow.
