Taint Wars

• The Taint was released into the Basin of Life when Emperor Ladantine VII opened the way to the Astral Plane as part of Project Cosmic Hope.
• The Taint transformed and mutated many things and people or killed them outright, causing them to rise again as undead. The untainted were horrified and fought against this.
• By the end, Magnagora and every plane connected to it was tainted, the Holy Celestine Empire had fallen, the cities of Hallifax and Gaudiguch were trapped in time, the Ackleberry Forest disappeared, and Gloriana Forest transformed to become Glomdoring.
