Located on the southeastern shores of the Illwater Lake, the Village of Ixthiaxa is home to a coterie of illithoid Ritualists and Overseers who subsist upon metals and minerals mined from the Undervault in which they reside. Ever at odds with the hives of the kephera, it is rumoured that one Ritualist Atshagn has devised a method by which labor may be stolen from the rival Ptoma Hive in order to better empower the illithoid empire. Additionally, the Grand Cenobite Mmakigogotl, mind shattered after the disastrous revelation of the Scorpion Caves, now resides in Ixthiaxa under the supervision of Overmind Tkegthul, alone in the dark as he slowly attempts to regain his sanity.
The Mountain Wars and the Undervault Struggles: Ixthiaxa periodically revolts alongside Southgard, Angkrag, Ptoma and Rockholm.
