Alchemy
| Only bards practised in low magic, or those who have learned the nature skill may learn the alchemist's trade. Alchemy is the process of amalgating certain herbs, and sometimes minerals, into a variety of highly useful potions and purgatives. Once you have acquired the necessary ingredients from an herbalist, you must find an alembic to use. First, ADD <ingredient> into the alembic and then AMALGAMATE <potion> to create the brew. It's always a good idea to FLUSH ALEMBIC after each working to make sure it is pristinely clean. You may create up to ten batches of any specific potion by adding the proportional number of ingredients. To remove finished potions from an alembic, you must have an empty vial in your inventory, then simply FILL VIAL. |

Salt

Turn ordinary salt into magical salt, which can then be sprinkled in a circle around you to form a magical shield.
Sulfur

Magically charged sulfur will bring down magical shields.
Liniment

A specially prepared liniment will cure those diseases or ailments that affect the skin, including sun allergies, pox, scabies, and itching.
Health

By drinking health potions, your wounds will be instantly healed. This viscous potion can also be applied to various body parts, which will heal deep wounds that may not be visible.
Bromide

When the ego suffers or is bruised, the best way is to inflate it is through soothing bromides.
Quicksilver

This potion refines and purifies mercury, so that its quickening qualities can be safely consumed. It will speed your reflexes.

The antidote potion will purge the blood of extremely toxic substances, such as escozul poison and the deadly crotamine venom.
Reagents

Beastmasters have need of special reagents to transform their beasts and ready them for special training.
Mending

This salve will cause broken bones to knit back together, including those of the arms, legs, skull and jaw.
Love

The love potion will cure repugnant auras that cause disloyalty. However, given to a healthy person, this mischievious potion will cause that person to fall in love with anyone in his or her location, as well as causing others to fall in love with him or her.
Miniatures

You can dip miniatures in a vial of quicksilver, making the figurine attack faster. The figurine will absorb the equivalent of 50 sips.
NOTE: Figurines coated in quicksilver cannot also be coated in poison nor can it wear knuckles/helmet.
Regeneration

This amazing potion will cure the imbiber of almost any ailment. However, because of its potency, it cannot be drank often.
