Only bards practised in low magic, or those who have learned the nature skill may learn the alchemist's trade. Alchemy is the process of amalgating certain herbs, and sometimes minerals, into a variety of highly useful potions and purgatives. Once you have acquired the necessary ingredients from an herbalist, you must find an alembic to use. First, ADD <ingredient> into the alembic and then AMALGAMATE <potion> to create the brew. It's always a good idea to FLUSH ALEMBIC after each working to make sure it is pristinely clean. You may create up to ten batches of any specific potion by adding the proportional number of ingredients. To remove finished potions from an alembic, you must have an empty vial in your inventory, then simply FILL VIAL.

Salt

Syntax:
SPRINKLE SALT [AROUND <target>]
Amalgamation Cost: Half a percent of power reserve.

Ingredients: salt 1

Turn ordinary salt into magical salt, which can then be sprinkled in a circle around you to form a magical shield.

Sulfur

Syntax:
SPRINKLE SULFUR AT <target>
Amalgamation Cost: Half a percent of power reserve.

Ingredients: sulfur 1

Magically charged sulfur will bring down magical shields.

Liniment

Syntax:
APPLY LINIMENT
Amalgamation Cost: 1 percent of power reserve.

Ingredients: arnica 4 chervil 2 yarrow 2 horehound 1 flax 2

A specially prepared liniment will cure those diseases or ailments that affect the skin, including sun allergies, pox, scabies, and itching.

Health

Syntax:
DRINK HEALTH

APPLY HEALTH <body part>

Amalgamation Cost: 2 percent of power reserve.

Ingredients: galingale 8 sargassum 2 juniper 1 yarrow 1

By drinking health potions, your wounds will be instantly healed. This viscous potion can also be applied to various body parts, which will heal deep wounds that may not be visible.

Bromide

Syntax:
DRINK BROMIDE
Amalgamation Cost: 2 percent of power reserve.

Ingredients: rosehips 3 marjoram 3 weed 3 calamus 2 reishi 2

When the ego suffers or is bruised, the best way is to inflate it is through soothing bromides.

Quicksilver

Syntax:
DRINK QUICKSILVER
Amalgamation Cost: Half a percent of power reserve.

Ingredients: kafe 4 pennyroyal 4 sage 4 mercury 1

This potion refines and purifies mercury, so that its quickening qualities can be safely consumed. It will speed your reflexes.

Additional Notes:
Quicksilver provides a defense against aeon.

Mana

Syntax:
DRINK MANA
Amalgamation Cost: 2 percent of power reserve.

Ingredients: marjoram 6 flax 4 reishi 1 kafe 1

Restore your mental strength by drinking a mana potion.

Antidote

Syntax:
DRINK ANTIDOTE
Amalgamation Cost: 3 percent of power reserve.

Ingredients: reishi 6 wormwood 6 myrtle 2

The antidote potion will purge the blood of extremely toxic substances, such as escozul poison and the deadly crotamine venom.

Reagents

Amalgamation Cost: 1 percent of power reserve.

Ingredients (Mindoru): chervil 10 juniper 10 mistletoe 1
Ingredients (Suporu): chervil 10 weed 10 mistletoe 1
Ingredients (Bodoru): chervil 10 colewort 10 mistletoe 1

Beastmasters have need of special reagents to transform their beasts and ready them for special training.

Mending

Syntax:
APPLY MENDING <body part>
Amalgamation Cost: 3 percent of power reserve.

Ingredients: arnica 5 coltsfoot 5 juniper 5 rosehips 3

This salve will cause broken bones to knit back together, including those of the arms, legs, skull and jaw.

Love

Syntax:
DRINK LOVE
Amalgamation Cost: 4 percent of power reserve.

Ingredients: rosehips 5 weed 5 marjoram 3 coltsfoot 3 faeleaf 1

The love potion will cure repugnant auras that cause disloyalty. However, given to a healthy person, this mischievious potion will cause that person to fall in love with anyone in his or her location, as well as causing others to fall in love with him or her.

Miniatures

Syntax:
DIP <figurine> IN <quicksilver>

You can dip miniatures in a vial of quicksilver, making the figurine attack faster. The figurine will absorb the equivalent of 50 sips.
NOTE: Figurines coated in quicksilver cannot also be coated in poison nor can it wear knuckles/helmet.

Regeneration

Syntax:
APPLY REGENERATION
Amalgamation Cost: 3 percent of power reserve.

Ingredients: arnica 5 flax 5 mistletoe 3 sparkleberry 2 chervil 2 kombu 1

Regenerate lost or mangled limbs, a crushed chest, burst organs, fully collapsed lungs, and even disembowelments.

Allheale

Syntax:
DRINK ALLHEALE
Amalgamation Cost: 5 percent of power reserve.

Ingredients: reishi 7 kombu 6 sargassum 5 arnica 3 yarrow 2 pennyroyal 2 sparkleberry 2 merbloom 2

This amazing potion will cure the imbiber of almost any ailment. However, because of its potency, it cannot be drank often.

Nightsweats

Syntax:
DRINK NIGHTSWEATS
Amalgamation Cost: 5 percent of power reserve.

Ingredients: shadowessence 4

Drinking nightsweats will build within the power to deliver vicious bleeding when doing damage. Only usable by those in the Glomdoring Commune.

Unholywater

Syntax:
DRINK UNHOLYWATER
Amalgamation Cost: 5 percent of power reserve.

Ingredients: darkessence 4

Drinking unholy water will build within the power to return damage to those who damage you. Only usable by those in the City of Magnagora.

Holywater

Syntax:
DRINK HOLYWATER
Amalgamation Cost: 5 percent of power reserve.

Ingredients: lightessence 4

Drinking holy water will build within the power to greatly resist incoming damage. Only usable by those in the City of New Celest.

Moonwater

Syntax:
DRINK MOONWATER
Amalgamation Cost: 5 percent of power reserve.

Ingredients: silveressence 4

Drinking moonwater will build within the power to cure a random affliction when sipping a health, mana, or bromide potion. Only usable by those in the Serenwilde Commune.
