Aquachemantics is a skillchoice specialization after learning Elementalism and is an alternative to Aquamancy. Developed from the teachings of Lady-Captain Vonuleish Ladantine, who came from a dark, far future timeline. Aquachemancers develop chemantic reagents that can be used to create mists that surround them and coat their skins with sheens as well as powerful chemantic reactions.

Waterbourne

Your affinity to water is so great that you can survive within it no matter what the circumstances, even if it is stilled. Additionally, you will be able to sleep in watery environments.

This also will allow you to DIVE and RISE to the deep ocean levels as well as avoiding strong ocean currents.

The amphora forms the basis of Aquachemantics, storing delicate and powerful aquatic reagents transmuted from light essence. A single piece of essence can be manipulated to create 5 parts of reagent. Your amphora can hold up to 2000 reagents of any type and you may release reagents to make room for other types.


Pellucid

By expelling some pellucid reagent from your amphora you can create a mist around yourself that will last one Lusternian day. When you focus your mists upon a target, they will periodically suffer from drained ego.

Concentrating on your mists will bring them all into sync so that they fire at the same time.


Peaceful

This peaceful sheen covers your skin. Anyone who attacks you may find their ego draining away, less certain of their actions around your peaceful nature.


Buoyancy

Condense

By condensing your mists, their thick, chill wisps will drag against your focused target, slowing any attempts for them to leave.


Depuration

An adjuvant requires two or more mists to be released, in this case a pellucid and humid mist, to elicit a more powerful effect than can normally be achieved. The depuration adjuvant will climax shortly after being released and will cause any of your enemies whom it hits to suffer damage to their health and ego while also being afflicted with recklessness. Your enemy's movements will be greatly hindered while the effect is growing.

You can now embed up to ten motes on your chalice. Every time you perform an attack with your chalice, one of the motes will be triggered.


Fervid

This fervid sheen covers your skin. Anyone who attacks you may be affected by your fervor, causing terrible addiction.


Chilled

This chilled globe will keep your body temperature down in hot temperatures, providing some respite from summery weather.


Dehydration

This adjuvant requires humid, bubbling and luminated mists to be present around the Aquachemantic mage. At the climax of the adjuvant, any enemies in range will suffer from a burst of damage which is increased by how weak their ego is.


Fellowship

Syntax

By linking your mists to the elemental magics of another Aquamancer or Aquachemancer, you can allow cast adjuvants to spread further. Each link will increase the radius of your effects by one room. Any damage caused by the adjuvants will be increased if the target is standing inside the demesne of a linked mage.


Mistbourne

You can expel pellucid, humid, bubbling and luminated mists all at once with this powerful ability.


Gild

Syntax

CHALICE LUMINATE <target> [<direction>]

Damage Type: 100% divinus
Damage Source: Magical

By gilding your chalice you will gain access to a further attack. Luminating your target will cause pure divinus damage but will consume one luminated reagent per use.


Surging

Damage Modifier: 1/8 divinus increase

The surging globe will last for fifty months and will provide a boost to any divinus damage you cause.


Ardent

This ardent sheen covers your skin. Anyone who attacks you may be affected by your fervor, making them fall in love with you.


Aquoxitism

Damage Source: Magical

Requiring pellucid, humid, bubbling and luminated mists to be in effect around the Aquachemancer, this incredibly powerful adjuvant causes staggering damage and stun to those enemies whom it effects. The damage is further increased for each of the following afflictions the target is suffering from: recklessness, pacifism, luminosity, blindness, and addiction.


Novamist

Outlay: pellucid 10 humid 10 bubbling 10 luminated 10

Power: 5 (Pool of Stars)

The most remarkable of all mists that Aquachemancers can produce is the famed novamist. Brimming with life-giving energies that can revitalise a dying mage, this mist lingers around the skin until the caster is on the brink of death, at which point it rushes in through the pores and brings them back into health. The amount of health restored will depend on how long ago the mist was first expelled. Novamist only provides protection against deaths caused by a loss of health. Once expelled, the protection of the novamist will last one Lusternian day. You will receive a brief prismatic barrier against harm when the novamist is drawn in.
