The Divine Pantheon of Lusternia officially was born during Cosmogenesis, when Dynara created the Elder Gods. They first manifested within what would later be known as the Cosmic Planes, bubbles of reality also known as divine creches. Dynara's first attempts at creation resulted in lesser beings that She referred to as divine templates, which the Elders would later call half-formed. Mortals of Lusternia know some of these half-formed beings as the Holy Supernals or the Demon Lords, for instance.

The Elder Gods, because of Their five-pointed (head, two arms, two legs) humanoid shape, were originally known as star-gods. Over time, They began to organize Themselves into Circles based on Their innate skills, abilities, and predilections.
