The full scan will list all of the defences you have which offer resistance or buff DMP for a given damage type, as well as how much they provide. The final row of each section shows the total DMP provided for the damage type. The value in parenthesis denotes the total DMP for that damage type, and includes non-specific DMP (for resistance, Elemental DMP applies to cold, fire, and electric sources). Finally, the weighted result is provided as a percentage in the last column.

The final row of each damage type shows the total DMP provided by defences for the damage type (in parenthesis is the total DMP you receive against that damage type, which is a summation of specific and non-specific DMP). Sources are excluded from subtotals and totals if they do not affect the majority of targets. Such sources will be marked with one of the below symbols.
It is worth noting that skills or defences offering DMP in an inconsistent manner may not be listed. BodyScan should not be considered an exhaustive list, as some DMP is only validated based on the caster, the target, the damage type, and/or the damage sources involved.
