Commodities

Commodities are raw materials that can be transformed into various items through the abilities learned within the general Arts skill, or any of the specialised Tradeskills.

Some of these commodities are produced over time by the various villages located throughout the Basin of Life, and can be bought and sold directly through village-run commodity shops. Adventurers can assist villages to improve the rate of production (hence lowering the price) by completing commodity quests that benefit the relevant village denizens.

Other commodities used primarily for player crafted goods can be obtained via a number of means, such as hunting beasts, gathering herbs or poisons, or completing quests.
