Pyromancy is the specialization of the element of fire and may only be learned in Gaudiguch, for it draws its power from the Vortex. Of all the mage skills, pyromancy is the most aggressive of all the elemental powers, though it offers little in the way of defense. |

You can temper your skin against fire, offering some fire protection as well as the chance to avoid catching on fire. Also, you will be protected from blasts of fire that move you on the Elemental Plane of Fire.

You can cause fires to spontaneously combust and burn almost any environment. If a location is currently the demesne of any druid or mage, you can FORCECOMBUST and break the meld in that location. Note that desert is considered the natural environment for a pyromancer demesne and needs not be combusted.
Meld

PYROCAST MELD PYROCAST SENSE |
The primary power of pyromancy is to build your own fiery demesne. By creating a MELD between a burning location and yourself, you thus build your demesne. Each new MELD must be adjacent to another. While in your demesne, you can SENSE who dares to enter your burning land and WATCH who enters and leaves. To check on its status, DEMESNE will show you where its center is, and what powers are curently active and how long they will last. DEMESNE CENTER will change the center of your demense to the current room. You can DISSOLVE your demesne at any time. If there is a demesne effect active that you wish to get rid of, you may DAMPEN it.
Influence
Within your own demesne, you will find your ability of influence to be more effective.
Smokehaze

This can be cast in a single burning location or throughout your demesne. Black smoke will rise up in a thick haze, coiling in the lungs of your enemies and afflicting your enemies with asthma.
Center

From anywhere in your demesne, you can instantly transport to the center of your demesne. If you are outside your demesne, but on the same plane and terrain type as your demesne, you may teleport back to the center of your demesne at a cost of two power.
Firestorm

This can be cast in a single burning location or throughout your demesne. Uncontrolled fires will seek out and burn your enemies to cinders.
Heatwave

PYROCAST HEATWAVE [DEMESNE] |
This can be cast in a single burning location or throughout your demesne. Summon forth a parching heatwave, causing sun allergies to your enemies and increasing the severity of their burns.
Dissolve

DISSOLVE <target> |
You can dissolve the aura of protection around those who are using it to escape some of the powers of your demesne. This requires balance but not equilibrium and is a very fast attack.
Flashfire

This can be cast in a single burning location or throughout your demesne. Flash fires come as quickly as they disappear, but when they emerge, they can cause damage to your enemies, as well as increasing the severity of their burns.
Travel

You can travel to a target if both of you are in your demesne.
Salamanders

This can be cast in a single burning location or throughout your demesne. By opening up a channel to the Seven Sacred Pyres, you can call salamanders. Salamanders are small elemental creatures of fire, who will attack your enemies, causing a variety of afflictions.
Firewalls

This is cast throughout the demesne, raising walls of fire throughout. Any enemies who pass through the firewall will take damage and be set aflame.
Phoenix

PYROCAST PHOENIX BEAST ORDER BREATHE FIRE <target> |
Power: 10 (Eternal Flame) |
Create a phoenix egg which you can raise as a beast. The power cost will be significantly less if cast on the Elemental Plane of Fire. The phoenix has the ability to fly as well as the inherent ability to breathe fire which a pyromancer may cast regardless of his or her level in Beastmastery. The fire breath of a phoenix has the unique property of setting others on fire.
NOTE: If you lose the phoenix skill, your phoenix will not abandon you; however, it will no longer have the ability to light people on fire when it breathes fire nor allow the owner to use breathe fire without the Beastmastery skill. Also note that the phoenix's inherent ability to fly will always need the flying skill in Beastmastery to use it.
Mirage

This can be cast in a single burning location or throughout your demesne. It will hide the appearance of any non-desert location so that it will appear to be a desert.
Wildfire

PYROCAST WILDFIRE [DEMESNE] |
This can be cast in a single burning location or throughout your demesne. Wildfires release extremely powerful, though erratic, bursts of fire. Not only are the balls of wildfire damaging, but there is a chance that it will incinerate the legs of your enemies if their burn level is high enough.
Firerain

This can be cast in a single burning location or throughout your demesne. Fire rain releases extremely an powerful, though erratic, rain of fire. Not only is the liquid fire that rains down damaging, but there is a chance that it will incinerate the arms of your enemies if their burn level is high enough.
Heatstroke

PYROCAST HEATSTROKE [DEMESNE] |
This can be cast in a single burning location or throughout your demesne. By raising the temperature, your enemies may suffer from excessive sweating.
Ashfall

PYROCAST ASHFALL [DEMESNE] |
This can be cast in a single burning location or throughout your demesne. Black ash has a chance of giving your enemies black lung, as well as confusing them if they try to move.
Flamering

Surround yourself in a ring of fire, which increases the burn level of those who attack you, as well as having a chance of damaging and/or lighting your attacker on fire. Only those in the same room and elevation of yourself will be affected by the flame ring.
Staff

The ultimate weapon of the pyromancer is a staff created from elemental fire. By wielding the staff you may POINT STAFF at a target and shoot a stream of fire at your target. You can RAISE STAFF to burn away an ailment. With WHIRL STAFF, you can reveal anyone hiding in your location. Finally, by TWIRL STAFF you can fan the flames in your location, and all enemies who are ablaze will suffer increased damage as well as an increase in their burn levels. The power cost will be significantly less if cast on the Elemental Plane of Fire.
Incinerate

By opening up channels to the Five Sacred Flames, you can release blasts of pure elemental energies that have the power to incinerate the flesh. If the target survives, he or she will suffer significant burns as well as momentarily blacking out.
Conflagration

Your demesne will surge with elemental fires and become imbued with firestorm, heatwave, flashfire, salamanders, smokehaze, wildfire, firerain, heatstroke and ashfall.
Cremation

This extremely devestating spell will only work if the target has fourth degree burns. Quite simply, you can utterly destroy a person, literally reducing him or her to nothing but a pile of ash.
Inferno

By releasing an inferno, you demonstrate the most intense and potent powers of the Elemental Plane of Fire. Bonfires will form throughout your demesne, growing into pyres and then blazing infernos that will seek out and consume your personal enemies. You must wield your staff and be at full mana to invoke such a spectacle.
